April 11-17 is Black Maternal Health Week. With over 1,200 maternal deaths in 2021, pregnancy-related deaths are on the rise in the US, and Black women are three times more likely to die from pregnancy-related causes than white women. Bias and racism is directly linked to Black maternal and infant mortality rates. Pregnancy-related deaths are preventable. Learn more and be part of the solution:
