Call to Action on Climate, Health, and Equity

As Oregon’s leading health professionals and organizations—representing public health, health care, health systems, and community health organizations—we call on Governor Brown and State lawmakers to work with local, state, and national leaders to protect the health of Oregonians and prioritize the recommendations laid out in the Oregon Call to Action on Climate, Health, and Equity

We are joining with voices across our nation and the world to make it known that climate
change has now become a health emergency. Add your name and/or organization to Oregon's Call to Action on Climate, Health, and Equity!

Our goal is to reach 1,000 signatures by February 4, 2020 to share this list with Oregon lawmakers. We will then have conversations with legislators on February 6th, during OPHA Public Health Advocacy Day at the Capitol. Hope some of you can join us!

Share this Call to Action with your public health colleagues! You do not have to be an OPHA member to sign or share the Call to Action. Ask your organization to formally sign on!

Number of signatures so far (as of 1/15/20): 407
