Mission Statement

The OPHA Epidemiology and Biostatistics section's mission is:

(1) To foster epidemiologic and biostatistical research, training and professional development as well as science-based public health practice;

(2) To serve as a conduit between the epidemiologic and biostatistical research communities and those who need scientific information for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and policies affecting the public's health in Oregon.
