Oral Health Section

Mission

The mission of the OPHA Oral Health Section is to educate Oregonians on the importance of oral health as it relates to overall health. 

Objectives:

To provide leadership during the health care transformation, integrating oral health into overall health care delivery systems

To improve communication between health care and public health stakeholders as it relates to oral health

To promote the “Improve Oral Health” section of the 2015 State Health Improvement Plan

To promote the understanding that water fluoridation should be the foundation of a sound, dental public health policy

To encourage dental professionals and organizations to participate in public health

To increase dental health professionals membership in the OPHA
